Hi, I am Claudia!
I was born to my father and grandfather photographers in my native Peru. Growing up I helped my dad with the family business whether in the darkroom (back then) or helping with lighting or assisting customers in the family portrait studio. I went to UCSM (Arequipa Peru) and graduated from Advertising and Communications, enriching my knowledge of different types of media and communications.
Once I got married and moved to the U.S. I was very busy becoming a mom and took a break from photography for a while to devote my whole time to raise my children.
After immersing myself in the community of the Saint Charles county area and meeting other families, I saw the need for photography, to document these treasured years that, as everyone says, "go fast quick". I experienced it first hand, how those little smiles and moments don't last forever, the princess or superhero stage pass quick enough.
I love all types of music, working out in my Zumba class at my local YMCA, nature walks with my family, meeting new people, learning new languages (if I ever find the time) and cooking.
Now I live in Lake Saint Louis, MO, married to my loving husband Cuper and have two children, and recently added Dexter, our pup, to our family.
